The first day of Summer is June 21st. Summer smells like flowers. Summer looks colorful and bright. Summer tastes like Ice cream. Summer sounds like FIREWORKS. The last day of Summer is September 22nd.

Our School Annual Picnic
When scheduling the picnic we have to plan ahead and check the weather. This Friday the 15th the weather says sunny and warm. That will be perfect weather to have our picnic. If we host the picnic on the 15th then on the 29th we go to Downtown Royal Oak. The picnic is special because students who have graduated get to join us. I am looking forward to eating Hot Dogs and playing on the swing.
Dance Party
Madison Heights is hosting a luau party for adult transition programs. The name of their program is METRO. Will be going to the middle school. A luau is a type of dance. It is a tradition from Hawaii. We will get to dance to music and play games. A popular symbol for a luau is a palm tree. I plan on dressing for the theme by wearing island colors. There will be a prize for the best dressed student for each program. I am looking forward to meeting new people.
